Connect Teamleader to the tools your team uses
If your team re-enters customer details or sales enquiries by hand, we can assess how agreed information could move between Teamleader and your other software. The Teamleader Focus API documentation describes contacts and deals, among other areas. We check which data and actions are available for your account and process.
For the broader decisions about customer records and follow-up, see CRM integrations.
Which information should Teamleader and your other software share?
Start with the information your team needs. Another tool may contain a new enquiry or an update to customer details. We agree which fields should reach Teamleader, which tool owns each value and what your team needs to see elsewhere.

How do we avoid incorrect or duplicate contacts?
We agree how the tools should recognise an existing person or organisation. An email address, for example, may be missing, shared or changed, so one match is not always enough to merge records automatically. An uncertain match can be held for a team member to review.
Which follow-up steps fit your Teamleader setup?
A new record may need an owner, status or next task. We check what your account supports and how your team handles enquiries today. Only clear rules are suitable for automatic processing; missing details and exceptions may still need a person to review them.
How do we assess a Teamleader integration?
We start with the tools, information and follow-up steps your team uses. Then we check the available Teamleader features, account access and existing connections. We agree how to handle possible duplicates and exceptions. This gives us a basis for defining the feasible data flow and the scope of a proposal.
Map the data and records
Map the source information and the records your team needs in Teamleader.
Check what Teamleader offers
Check fields, account features, access rights and existing connections.
Decide on matches and review
Agree which matches can proceed and which need a person to review them.
Set the scope
Define deliverables, responsibilities, price and schedule.
What affects the cost of a Teamleader integration?
The price and schedule depend on the source software, fields, matching rules and follow-up steps. Your Teamleader account, existing connections and available access also matter. The proposal explains what is included, who is responsible for each part and which relevant recurring costs apply.
Common questions
We assess that against your account and data flow. First, we agree when information should become a contact, company or deal and which fields are required. The API documentation describes available data and actions, but does not confirm that every plan or setup supports your use case.
Only when the match is reliable and the software provides access to the required fields. We agree which system is authoritative and which changes may be applied.
We can agree that it is held for review. Incomplete details or an uncertain match should not be silently assigned to the wrong record.
What should Teamleader receive from your other software?
Tell us which tools are involved, what customer or enquiry information should move and how your team follows it up. We can then assess what needs to be checked.
